Purple is Valentine’s Color, Not Red

Sterling Canyon wants to explain that the tradition for Valentine’s Day is to give who you love something RED.  After all, red represents the heart and the heart is where love resides.  Let us throw a wrench into that machinery and say that Valentine’s should be represented by the color…purple.  Why purple?  Turns out that Amethyst is the gemstone for February.

Amethyst is a purple gemstone that is very popular.  It has qualities that don’t compare to a heart.  The Amethyst gemstone has a good hardness and can withstand much punishment from its wearer. You can even clean it with warm soap and water.  Not many gemstones can handle soap and water.  And you can’t wash your heart with soap and water.  The ultimate decision is yours. Red or purple.  Either way, your love will be pouring out once again this month.
